Free Photo Editing apps

A review of a few free photo-editing apps for the ipod touch/iphone.

These pictures where edited using Face-Look Lite. There are a few cute girly stamps. There is a very small selection of frames. My only concern is the ad that shows up at the top of the screen. What is annoying is that it covers the top part of your photo when you are trying to edit the picture. You can edit a picture from your library with a few stamps, borders, frames, and using text. It is free, I just wish the free version had a little more to it. It is very simple to use. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars.

These two pics are edited with Pimpy. There are a few cool stamps like hair and glasses that you can change the size of and rotate. The blonde hair and the black bangs are the two stamps I used. There are a few frames and other girly stamps like hearts and sparkles. It is easy to use, no ads in the way, and has some good graphics. For the guys there is also facial hair. For a free app, I like it. 4 out of 5 stars.

This picture was edited using Snapeee. It is cute. You need an account like Instagram. There are a few photo filters, some really cute stamps and borders, word bubbles, etc. You can alter the size of the stamps. Your picture will be saved as a square rather than portrait size. I don't think you can rotate the stamps like the previous two apps. It is pretty easy to use. I would give it 4 out of 5 for picture editing. (I have not checked out the other features like following people, etc.)

This one is made with an Adventure Time "Sticker Time" app. There were a few cool stickers like the Ice King's beard and crown, Princess Bubblegum's hair, and a few other misc stickers. There are also a couple stickers of each character. You can alter the size of the stickers, shrink them or make them bigger. There is also the soundboard where you can hear the characters say a few things. When editing, the toolbox was right under the cartoon network banner, covering part of the photo. You can't remove the banner. You can edit a picture of yours or use a few adventure time backgrounds to put the stickers on. I give it a 2 out of 5 for photo editing. Though I love Adventure Time, I am still keeping it.

A few other apps I tried but deleted are PuriPhoto. The only stamps I could use in the free version was just a few hearts and stars in different colors (same hearts and stars too, not different designs) You have to buy the other stamps. Photo Sticker HD by StephenFoxGames just kept crashing on me. PriPri Marron Mini has some super cute stickers of a pink bear, but there really wasn't much for stamps on the free version sadly, so I deleted it because there wasn't very much to the free version compared to some other free apps. There are a few other decorating apps I have not tried because I have an ipod touch and not an iphone, so some of the apps weren't compatible with my device.
